Details of the dates, times, prices and locations of all my courses are on the courses page of this website. If you have any questions feel free to ring me.
To book on one the 8-week mindfulness courses you’ll need to:
1. Read through the ‘Info’ page on this website
Once you’ve chosen a course from the Courses Page it’s crucial that you read through the Info Page on this website which gives detailed information about the course. In particular, it’s important for you to know that the course involves ‘home practice’ and that there are some circumstances when it’s best to defer starting a course of this kind.
2. Download and return the Pre-course Form (and pay for the course)
Then click on the link below to download the pre-course form and email it back or post it to me (both my postal and email addresses are on the form). If you have trouble opening or sending it email me and I’ll send you a ‘plain text’ version.
Once I have received your completed form I shall email you details of how to pay the £175 (£125 conc.) course fee. You can get a refund if you change your mind at least 6 days before the course starts.
3. Attend one of the free introductory sessions (or speak with me on the phone)
I’d highly recommend also coming to one of the Free Introductory Sessions I give (see right panel on this page) before starting the course. You can attend whichever of these is most convenient, but there will be one in the same venue that the course you’ve chosen is being held (it will be a week or two before the start date). This Free Introductory Session is a helpful ‘orientation’ to the 8-week course. If you can’t attend one of these sessions I will arrange a time to speak briefly with you on the phone. If you would like to speak to me anyway I’d be happy to have a short chat on the phone too to answer any questions you might have.
SOMETIMES THE COURSES FILL UP BEFORE THE FREE INTRODUCTORY SESSIONS so I would recommend not delaying your booking (see details regarding refunds below).
Attending the Mindfulness ‘All Day’ of Practice
If you are considering booking on a course I highly recommend, if possible, also booking on the ‘All Day’ of mindfulness practice (or the ‘half day’) – see the side panel for details. People often report that doing an ‘All Day’ session substantially deepens the benefit gained from doing the course itself. Alternatively can do this separately after the course. The All Day is an integral part of the original MBSR course but I charge separately for it to help keep costs down.
Once you have paid for the course, if you decide not to go ahead with it and let me know at least six full days before the start of the course I will give you a full refund. Within six days of the course, if you need to withdraw from it I will only give a refund only if I have time to arrange for someone on the waiting list to take that place or if the course wouldn’t have been full.
